(Miami Beach, Fl) - Two days were way too short to enjoy all that Miami had to offer during Art Basel on Miami Beach. The annual art fair draws over 70,000 attendees and countless more visitors to the city from around the United States and the world to participate in the viewing, discussion and sell of art and furnishing from some of the top emerging and established international artists and designers.
The Art Basel fair has been existence since 1970 in its beginnings in Basel, Switzerland and now includes annual fairs in Miami Beach and Hong Kong. Accompanying the fair in Miami Beach are several other fair and gallery events sponsored by various municipalities and groups happening throughout the Miami area. Fashion, Film and Home Furnishings are just some of the other categories of creativity you will find on display during the week long celebration of art and artists.
