ART & LUXURY: MoMA to the HAMPTONS

Yoko
(New York, New York) - There's a lot going in New York. Captain Obvious couldn't have said it better himself, but it's still is worth repeating.  Congestion and high prices are just the price you have to pay to visit or live in the capital of the world.  The city is truly a marvel.  After spending a day and half there last weekend, it felt as though I had been away an entire week.  Sure, the dense traffic, toll booths and crowds of people can be a hassle, but my first 2 hours there were maybe more than some people experience in years.

Hey, Museum of Modern Art! That's a nice exhibition you have of Yoko Ono's One Woman Show.  This piece on the ground inviting you step on it is really unique... and ... is that? Yes, it is. Hi, Yoko Ono and huge group of people following her coming right at me!

So, after just a few minutes of strolling through one of the most famous art galleries in the world, one of the most famous people in the world almost runs me down.  Welcome to New York!

What else? Brunch in The Hamptons, Dinner at the Standard Grill and one of my new favorites, Tender (Steak & Sushi).  Drinks at Catch NYC, The Chester and the rooftop at Pod 39 Hotel.I spent hours in traffic and there was also some small celebration going on after some minor Supreme Court ruling that may have contributed to all the congestion and slightly higher than usual prices.

Ok. Picture Time!
